Jaylen Brown’s fantasy season comes up short

You didn’t think we’d let the players off the hook, did you?

As a general rule, I don’t spend a lot of time on Twitch. Actually scratch that. I’d rather be six feet under than spend a second of my life worrying about whatever Jaylen Brown has to say on a streaming platform. So, it was news to me, yet not all that surprising, when JB continued his season-long beef with the officials saying, among other things, that the refs had “an agenda” against him.

Brown’s been picking fights with officials all year. Way back in December I noted that his battle, principled though it may have been at times, was a war he wouldn’t win. Refs have long memories and quick whistles. It cost him an ejection in San Antonio and maybe it cost him a call or two against Philly. Then again, maybe not.
